Isolate Tools

ProStructures includes several tools which can be used to quickly isolate a selected part, sub-group, group, or assembly. You can completely isolate one of these or isolate them including the display of any immediately connected parts.

When any of these tools is used to select a model object (i.e., part, group, sub-group, or assembly), the selected entities and adjacent parts, if this tool is used, are displayed in four separate views: plan (top), elevation (side), front, and orthogonal. The orthogonal view is shaded where as the other views are in wireframe.

Isolate Group	After selecting this tool, select a group or part in the model. The group containing the selected part or selected group is displayed in four views, with no other model objects visible.	`prostructure view isolate group`
Isolate Group with Adjacent Parts	After selecting this tool, select a group or part in the model. The group containing the selected part or selected group is displayed in four views, with any parts immediately connected to any part within this group also visible.	`prostructure view isolate group adjacent`
Isolate SubGroup	After selecting this tool, select a sub-group or part in the model. The sub-group containing the selected part or selected sub-group is displayed in four views, with no other model objects visible.	`prostructure view isolate subgroup`
Isolate SubGroup with Adjacent Parts	After selecting this tool, select a sub-group or part in the model. The sub-group containing the selected part or selected sub-group is displayed in four views, with any parts immediately connected to any part within this sub-group also visible.	`prostructure view isolate subgroup adjacent`
Isolate Assembly	After selecting this tool, select a assembly or part in the model. The assembly containing the selected part or selected assembly is displayed in four views, with no other model objects visible.	`prostructure view isolate assembly`
